Making Her Mark eBook PD Workman Reviews
This was such a good book! It was really engaging amd kept me entertained as I read it almost straight through! I had to take a bathroom break here and there! ;-) I definitely recommend this book to others!
Another enjoyable story by PD Workman. Kellie hasn’t had an easy life. Her mother and father are always drunk and care little for her. In addition to that, she has to dodge social workers and pull off scams just to scrape together cash to buy groceries. Then one day she learns that her entire life has been a lie, and she sets off to discover the truth about her past. But discovering the truth doesn’t make her life instantly whole again. And her new life has just as many problems to overcome. What I liked about this story was Kellie’s strength and determination to make her life whole again, and her commitment to her parents—despite their abusive behavior. I cheered for Kellie, hoping she would find the love and validation she always lacked and would finally find peace within herself. If you’ve never tried PD Workman’s novels, then I recommend you do. If you’re already a fan, you won’t be disappointed with this story.
